Born in Srilankaster, a small British colonial island in off the Indian Ocean, where her parents were working as aid workers. As a fashion model she was one and a half times voted the most beautiful face of Vogue. She balances her fashion work with work as a human rights campaigner. Educated at the Paris Convent 'Les Moines d'Un Autre Orgue'. Has often stated, that, she 'drinks a cherry cola every day'.
